Khalid Naqshbandi is one of the most famous Kurdish poets of the twelfth century. The present study has examined his Persian poems in order to know the extent and manner of his influence on Hafez. In this way, it became clear that Khalid Naqshbandi is influenced by Hafez's poetry at the level of thought and especially language. Adaptation of poetic lines, words, interpretations and use of rhetorical themes and images are among the most important categories that explain Khalid's influence on Hafez shirazi's poetry. Khalid sometimes looked at linguistic themes and compositions, and sometimes only used Hafez's linguistic interpretations without paying attention to the theme. In some cases, the main manifestation of Hafez's influence is evident in the body of images and rhetorical texture of Khalid's words. In fact, it should be said that Khalid has directly or indirectly looked at Hafez's words in many artistic categories of his poems.
