A Critique on the Method of Finding Titles in Articles of Mystical Literature

Abstract

Writing articles is a common and valid way of expanding new findings in various scientific fields. The role of scholarly articles in dissemination of information and expansion of knowledge is undeniable. In this case, the structure of articles is a criterion for the evaluation of those texts. The pathology of the structural dimension of the articles with the aim of reducing the possible defects and improving the quality of the journals in which they are published can be done in various ways, and the meta-textual elements of article titles are believed to play an important role in this regard. In addition to functions such as giving identity to the article, attracting the potential audience, and making the article memorable, the title plays an important role in the easy search and finding of the article on the Internet. Therefore, the challenges existing in finding appropriate titles from both structural and content perspectives can make it difficult to easily access articles on the Internet search engines and ultimately might lead to the anonymity of the work. The present research is of a survey-analytical type, and the corpus includes scholarly articles in the three magazines of Gohar Goya, Mystical Literature, and Mytho-Mystic Literature. The required data were collected through note-taking from library sources.
