Description is the main and effective part of the poetry which is more obvious in epic works because of the unbreakable bond of that. A poet can show his art by imagery which is made by creativity and a capable mind due to the language and expressive features that he had. In this regard, analyzing this category in poetry, specially in epic poem is important. Xodavandname is one of religious epics in which many discriptions have been used. Its reflection in Xodavandname shows the level of awareness and Saba's attention to discription and also his ability and accuracy in using this figures. All of Saba's discriptions are of an epic type related to martial scenes. His discriptions are both objective and subjective. He has applidied various adjectives in his work.
In this article we went through Saba's discription from different sides of discription of (Grammer) and his way of creating images about persons, nature, battle, situational lyrical and martial, and finally we analyze it in gorge aspect.
